A High Impact Partnership Project.
40 hectares of critically endangered Lowland Subtropical Rainforest restored including along 5.1km of creeks
The Project is located in Eden Creek just outside Kyogle, which is known as the Gateway to the Rainforest, despite severe devestation of this critical engandged and essential forest type. It is designed to optimise the use of unproductive creeks and steep slopes.
The project aims to prevent landslides, soil erosion, invasive weeds, and introduce climate cooling, rich biodiversity and wildlife corridors for Gliders, Red Legged Padelemons and Koalas.
